Fact: Accordingly, Goldberg and Levitansky proudly distributed payroll checks this week to Telshe Staff.
Rationale: As the Financial Officers this is their Choshen Mishpat obligation to make payroll (& to win friends too!).
Fact: Rabbi Zalmen Gifter - even if they don't get along with him - is, never the less, still a member of the Hanhala and a full time employee of Telshe Yeshiva! Diligently raising funds, depositing them into Telshe Yeshiva's account (frozen by the 'others') and continuing to try to meet the Yehiva's obligations! As such he is Halachikaly entitled to a payroll check as is any other employee of the Yeshiva!
Fact: There is an issur d'oraysah (Kovesh S'char Sachir) to withold any employee's wages!
Fact: Goldberg and Levitansky (representing the Hanhala?) denied Rabbi Zalmen Gifter his pay check!
Rationale: Who knows!! Let's imagine it goes something like this: "Zalman impeded our attempts to 'make off' with all the funds in Telshe Yeshiva's bank account - which we feel, as the new (self elected) Financial Officers, we are entitled to, so we are going to punish him and not give him his pay check (even though - he can't pay himself either, because we froze all the monies in Telshe Yeshiva's account!).
Question: Was a shailah asked of a Moreh Hora'ah in Choshen Mishpat if that is a valid justification to withhold Schar Sachir from an employee? To punish him?! Kinderlach - this is issurim d'oraysah! Besides Lo Tisneh es Achicha Bilvavecha!!

Fact: This is true for ALL the Roshei HaYeshiv's Rebbitzens. This is not Tzedakah - it is their rightful due!
